Occupational Therapist - Independent Contractor
Hannah completed her Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) at Curtin University in 2018 and has worked as an Occupational Therapist across private, hospital and not-for-profit settings. She has been practising within the NDIS framework since 2019, working with adults aged 18 years and over across a range of physical, neurological and psychosocial presentations.
Hannah currently works full-time in the community aged care sector, supporting older adults to remain independent in their own homes. Her role involves comprehensive in-home functional assessment, minor and complex home modifications, assistive technology prescription, and functional retraining to optimise safety and independence. She is passionate about community-based practice and values working within a person’s own environment to develop practical, meaningful solutions that support everyday life.
Alongside her full-time role, Hannah accepts referrals for Functional Capacity Assessments for adult NDIS participants (18+). She chooses to undertake FCA work outside of her primary role because she values the depth and structure of the assessment process and enjoys working with a diverse adult population. Hannah is skilled in analysing how a person’s condition impacts daily function and translating this into clear, evidence-based reports that align with NDIS requirements. Her focus is to ensure participants have well-justified documentation that supports access to appropriate funding and meaningful supports.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the Western Australian coastline with her partner. She loves boating, fishing, camping and snorkelling, and values time spent with her nieces and nephew.
