Sleep Occupational Therapy
Rest better. Live well.
Rest better. Live well.
Sleep touches every part of our wellbeingm, energy, mood, focus, pain, and relationships.
At Lifeworks Occupational Therapy, we help people understand the whole picture of what’s affecting their sleep and create practical, sustainable ways to restore rest.
Our Sleep OT service uses a holistic, evidence-based approach to explore how your routines, habits, health, and environment influence sleep. We then work together to build daily structures and strategies that make deep, restorative sleep possible again.
Comprehensive Initial Assessment (90 minutes) — exploring your routines, physical and mental health, sensory needs, and environment.
Personalised Sleep Plan — tailored, real-world strategies that align with your goals and lifestyle.
Follow-up Sessions — to refine strategies and support lasting improvement.
We focus on practical, achievable steps that fit your unique circumstances — because good sleep should work in your life, not the other way around.
Our service is available to adults and older adults across Western Australia and via telehealth.
We support people experiencing:
Stress, burnout, or performance-related sleep disruption
Fatigue and circadian rhythm issues linked to FIFO or shift work
Exhaustion and disrupted sleep during early parenthood
Sleep disturbance linked to chronic pain, anxiety, or low mood
We also welcome referrals from:
General Practitioners (GPs) and Sleep Specialists
Psychologists and other allied health professionals
NDIS and DVA providers where sleep is a barrier to function and participation
We view sleep as an occupation — something you do, shaped by your habits, environment and health.
Our therapists use this framework to address the root causes of poor sleep, not just the symptoms.
We work alongside you to develop routines, environmental changes and sensory strategies that can be maintained long-term.
All recommendations are grounded in current research and occupational therapy practice, bridging the gap between health, lifestyle and rest.
Sessions are available in-person in Perth or online across Australia for flexibility and convenience.
