Kirsten Reidy-Crofts

Kirsten Reidy-Crofts is a dedicated AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist with over a decade of experience in mental health services. She has worked in various settings, including inpatient, community, and rehabilitation, with a focus on the child, adolescent and young adult populations. Kirsten earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University and has since gained expertise in assessment, case management, individual/group-based interventions, and clinical supervision. Kirsten is passionate about trauma-informed care and has completed additional training in DBT skills, emotional regulation, and the use of screening tools for developmental and neurodiversity diagnoses, such as ASD, ADHD, and Conduct Disorder. She is skilled in working with individuals and their support networks, utilising her sense of humour to create a more personable approach when necessary. In addition to her clinical work, Kirsten is an Occupational Therapy teacher at Curtin University, instructing courses in Neuropsychiatry and Recovery and Foundations of Clinical Counseling and Group Work. She holds a Working with Children’s Check and is committed to providing compassionate and effective care to her clients. Outside of her professional life, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and beloved pets, Pablo and Stanley. She is an avid DIY enthusiast, engaging in gardening, arts and crafts, baking, and walks to meet random dogs.
