Sheryn is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for empowering her clients to thrive.
Sheryn has a special interest in adult mental health, with a particular focus on late-diagnosed neurodivergence, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. She also enjoys supporting a wide range of adult clients with other mental health diagnoses.
Her goal is to equip clients with the skills to enhance the aspects of their life that are important to them. This can include areas of focus such as daily living skills, organisation, sensory modulation, emotional regulation, socialisation, sleep routines and finding and maintaining fulfilling volunteer or paid employment.
With 12 years’ prior experience in workplace rehabilitation, Sheryn has supported clients across diverse industries throughout Western Australia, from zoo keepers and lab technicians to administration staff and construction workers. She has a strong background in coordinating supported work placements.
Sheryn graduated from Curtin University in 2003 and she is an active member of OT Australia.
Outside of her work, Sheryn cherishes time with her two daughters, their Welsh corgi Cookie, and their cat Harriet, and loves exploring the adventures WA has to offer with her girls.
