Tamsin Pagett

Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist

Tamsin graduated from Curtin University with a BSc (Occupational Therapy) in 2000. Tamsin is passionate about working as an OT and brings empathy and compassion to her sessions with clients and their families. Her experience as an OT has been predominantly focussed in the area of mental health and clinical supervision.

Tamsin has worked in community mental health services, inpatient mental health settings, non-government organisations in Perth, Melbourne and England. Tamsin has provided leadership within management roles in the past and currently enjoys having an opportunity to provide clinical supervision to staff at Lifeworks as well as for other OTs seeking this support. Tamsin currently offers supervision at our Mt Lawley Clinic and online. She offers individual and group supervision to OTs and other health service providers.

Tamsin enjoys making connections with people to help promote their optimal wellbeing in their different roles in life. Tamsin has extensive skills in functional assessment, individual and group therapies, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery and clinical supervision. Tamsin endeavours to centre her focus on the client’s hopes, goals and aspirations, working collaboratively to achieve better outcomes for clients, their families and/or significant others.

Tamsin has a special interest in supporting mums or expectant parents who might be struggling with the transition to parenthood and their personal well-being. She has three children of her own and thinks occupational therapy has SO much to offer to new parents. Tamsin has worked in the past on the Mother Baby Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital. She loves working with families in their home environment but there is always the option of online support or clinic based appointments.

Tamsin is a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Outside of her work life, Tamsin values spending time with her family and friends, coaches a netball team, walks her lunatic big dog, attempts to do well in her family footy tipping competition, enjoys cooking and gets down to the beach as much as possible!
